Impregnating agent:
An impregnating agent is a type of oil that penetrates deep into the pores of the natural stone. This gives the natural stone a reasonable degree of resistance to stains. However, it is important to keep in mind that natural stone still remains susceptible to staining, albeit to a lesser extent than before. It is therefore advisable to use placemats and coasters to prevent liquids from coming into direct contact with the surface of the table and causing possible stains.
