Return/Revocation right

1. Most products sold by Area8 are manufactured and/or delivered are made to order and not prefabricated. As a result, they are excluded from the right of withdrawal. This applies specifically to products manufactured based on the customer's individual choices and specifications.

2. The consumer can make his appeal to the right of withdrawal, for products in stock and/or for products in which no individual choices have been made, known via e-mail: info@area8.en.

3. For products where the right of withdrawal applies and the consumer Area8 requests to pick up the product, the costs for this are for the consumer. These costs are € 150,00 including VAT for addresses within the Netherlands & Belgium. This is only when it cannot be sent by a postal company such as: PostNL, DHL.For countries outside the Netherlands & Belgium this will be higher and depends on the delivery costs at that time. The product must be ready at the agreed time behind the first threshold and properly packed. If this is not the case, the product will not be included.

4. Our packaging is of high quality and is specially customized for each order. If you no longer have the packaging or if it is no longer in its original condition, we will have to make new packaging. The cost for this is €70 per package.

Warranty

1. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, theArea8 guarantees the soundness of the products delivered for a period of 60 months after delivery.

2. The warranty with respect to products applies only to defects caused by faulty manufacture, construction or material. At Area8 the natural property of wood to work is excluded from warranty. This is not considered a defect in the manufacturing process, but rather an inherent property of the material itself. The term "action of wood" means the process of expansion, contraction, cracking and/or warping of wood. The wood used in Area8 is carefully sawn and dried, with a moisture content between about 8% and 12%. This ensures that the product is suitable for use in heated environments.

3. The warranty does not apply in the case of normal wear and tear and damage resulting from accidents, modifications made to the product, negligence or incompetent use by the customer, as well as when the cause of the defect cannot be clearly determined.

4. The risk of loss, damage or theft of the products that are the subject of an agreement between the parties is transferred to the customer at the moment they are legally and/or actually delivered, or at least come into the control of the customer or of a third party who takes delivery of the product on behalf of the customer.

5. With custom work, slight variations in dimensions are possible. Unless otherwise agreed, retainsArea8 the right to deviate to a maximum of 3% of the agreed dimensions.
