Area8 introduces: All In Service, White Glove Delivery.

Our White Glove Delivery is a delivery service that goes beyond the standard delivery of a package or piece of furniture. With a white glove delivery, the product is not only delivered to the door, but it is also brought inside, unpacked, installed, and placed according to the customer's wishes. This service often includes additional services such as the removal of packaging materials and checking the product for any damage or defects before the delivery personnel leave. In addition, we also take all the waste back with us.

In short, our White Glove Delivery provides a very personal and careful delivery of the product, where you are completely relieved. This means you don't have to worry about anything; we will contact you for delivery to understand your living situation and ensure all necessary equipment is provided. For example, do you live on a floor without an elevator? No worries, we will arrange for a moving lift to be available. However, any costs for the moving lift or extra equipment are the responsibility of the customer. We will inform you about this in a timely manner, so you won't be caught by surprise.

Process from order to delivery:

  1. You place an order through our website or another sales channel.

  2. As soon as the order is received, we will get started on its production. I.

  3. 'As soon as the order is ready, it will be checked for quality and prepared for shipment. Everything is thoroughly checked with us, so you won't be faced with any surprises.'

  4. "Within the specified delivery period on our website, we will contact you again to schedule the delivery."

  5. On the agreed delivery date, our own delivery personnel will deliver the products. They will ensure that everything is ready for use and will take all packaging materials and any other waste back with them.

  6. Our delivery personnel are also experts in the field of the product and will provide you with explanations on maintenance and how to protect the product for long-term use.

  7. "After the delivery, we will follow up with you to ensure that everything has gone as desired and to answer any further questions or comments."

  • Apartment without elevator (stairs must be used)

Important: If you choose Apartment with elevator, make sure to measure well if the product fits in the elevator. Are you unsure if it fits? Then choose Apartment without elevator to avoid misunderstandings during delivery.

Other countries

"Unfortunately, assembly is not offered for countries outside the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany & Switzerland. Our transport partners will deliver the packages to the front door. After delivery, it is the consumer's responsibility. Any damages must be reported immediately on the CMR form provided by the delivery person, and we kindly ask to take photos right away. This way, we can easily arrange a replacement."

Damage to goods / missing packages

Upon receipt of your delivery, it is important to thoroughly check for any damage to the goods. If visible damage to the outside of the packaging is observed, it is necessary to inform us of this. This damage should then be noted on the waybill of the transport company, which is handed over at the time of delivery. If you discover hidden defects or transport damage after opening the packaging, we urgently request that you inform us directly at Area8. If there is transport damage, we ask you to contact us via info@area8.nl. With this notification, you must attach clear photos of the damage, along with any damaged packaging. Don't forget to mention your order number in your email. In order to claim compensation for damaged goods with the transport company, we need to report the transport damage to them within 1-3 working days. We would greatly appreciate it if you could inform us of the damage within this timeframe. If you notice that your order is incomplete or if part of the packages is missing, we kindly ask you to contact our customer service at: info@area8.nl.

The AREA8 process

Step 1

Inspection and Selection of the Block

The block of marble is visually and technically inspected. This involves looking for any cracks, veins, color variations and other features that could affect the quality and appearance of the final product. Based on this inspection, a decision is made on how best to cut and use the block.

Step 2

Sawing and Cutting

The block of marble is then taken to the sawing department in the factory. Here the block is sawn into plates using large sawing machines, such as a diamond saw. These machines make precise cuts to obtain plates of the desired thickness.

Step 3

Polishing or Sweetening

After sawing, the rough marble slabs are taken to the polishing department. Here the plates are carefully polished or honed based on your wishes. This process can be performed manually or mechanically depending on the precision required.

Step 4

Manufacturing of Table Tops

The polished plates are then taken to the department where custom table tops are manufactured. Based on specific designs and dimensions, the slabs of marble are cut and formed into table tops. This can include creating edge finishes, such as beveled edges or rounded corners.

Step 5

Quality control

Continuous quality control takes place during each of the above steps. It is checked for any imperfections, scratches, color variations or other defects that could affect the aesthetics or durability of the final product.

Step 6

Packaging and Shipping

Once the table tops have been completed and all quality checks have passed, they are packed with the utmost care for transport. We attach great importance to packaging and do not cut corners, because we are aware of the importance of good packaging.

Step 7

Delivery and Installation

The piece of furniture is carefully packaged and transported, after which it is placed and installed at your place within the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany & Switzerland. You will be completely relieved and do not have to take anything into account. After installation, everything is cleaned up and you and your guests can enjoy an AREA8. Unfortunately, we cannot offer installation outside the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany & Switzerland.
